Merrow
Meadow Park
Merrow Rd. (off Rte. 32). Self-guided nature trail with educational stations.
Handicap accessible for 1/3 mile. Maintained by Town of Mansfield.

Brook Park
Clover Mill Rd. (off Rte. 195). A network of 18 walking or ski trails,
including a portion of the blue-blazed Nipmuck trail through the 473 acres
surrounding Bicentennial Pond. Maintained by Mansfield Recreation Dept.

Falls Park
Birch Rd. (off Rte. 44). Walk along moss-speckled, leaf-covered, rocky
trail in 60-acre parcel with the Nelson and Cedar Swamp brooks falls.

Moosup
Valley State Park Trail
River St. (off Rte. 14, Moosup). The rail beds create a scenic
8-mile trail from the Moosup River to the Rhode Island border.
Trolley
Trail and Two Rivers Trail
Cady Ln. (off Rte. 14, Central Village). Two trails, approximately
1 mile each, in the Quinebaug Valley Trout Hatchery area offering great
birding.

Audubon - Bafflin Sanctuary
220 Day Rd. (off Rte. 169). Five miles of designated trails on
650+ acre property. Guided birdwalks, weekend workshops on gardening and

Farm
Dennis Rd. (off Rte. 97). Hike or ski-tour this pleasant 2-mile
trail. Maintained by Nature Conservancy.
Wolf
Den Trail
Mashamoquet Brook State Park (off Rte. 44). Trails lead to the famous
wolf den where Revolutionary War General Israel Putnam is said to have
slain the last wolf in Connecticut.
